  • Payment Information — processed securely through our payment partners; Sunsaa does not store card details on our servers

  • Communication Data — messages you send to our customer support team

2. How We Use Your Information

3. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal data to data brokers. We share information only with:

  • Logistics partners — to deliver your order to the address you provide
  • Payment processors — to securely process transactions
  • Analytics platforms — to understand how visitors find and use our site
  • Advertising platforms — we advertise on Facebook and Instagram, and we share website and order activity with Meta Platforms, Inc. so that we can measure our advertising and show relevant ads. Section 9 sets out exactly what is shared and how to opt out.
  • Legal authorities — when required by law

4. Cookies

We use cookies to remember your preferences, maintain your shopping cart, and understand how visitors use our site. We also allow advertising cookies set by Meta Platforms, Inc. (including _fbp and _fbc) which are used to measure our advertising and to show you relevant ads on Facebook and Instagram. You can disable or block cookies in your browser settings; however, certain features of the website may not function properly as a result.

All transactions on sunsaa.in are protected by SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption. While we take commercially reasonable measures to protect your data, no method of electronic transmission is 100% secure.

8. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party platforms (such as Amazon or Flipkart). Sunsaa is not responsible for the privacy practices of those platforms.

9. Advertising and Retargeting

We advertise on Facebook and Instagram, which are operated by Meta Platforms, Inc. (“Meta”). To measure whether our advertising leads to sales, and to show our ads to people likely to be interested in our products, our website and checkout send the following information to Meta:

  • What you do on our site — pages viewed, products viewed, items added to your cart, checkouts started and orders completed, together with the products involved, quantities and order value.
  • Cookie and device identifiers — including Meta’s advertising cookies (_fbp and _fbc), your IP address, and your browser and device type.
  • Contact and address details you enter at checkout — your email address, phone number, name, city, state, PIN code and country. These are converted into an irreversible cryptographic hash (SHA-256) in your browser before they are transmitted, and Meta uses them only to match your activity to an existing Meta account. We do not send these details to Meta in readable form.

We do not send Meta your payment or card details, and we do not send the contents of messages you send to our support team.

You can opt out at any time:

  • Block or clear cookies in your browser settings, or use your browser’s tracking-protection features.
  • Change how Meta uses your information for advertising in your Facebook or Instagram settings at facebook.com/adpreferences/ad_settings.
  • Email us at customercaresunsaa@gmail.com and ask us to stop sharing your information with advertising platforms. We will action the request and confirm it to you.

Opting out will not affect your ability to browse our website or place an order.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
